I live for the little thrills of scooping up a nice handful of freeze dried fruits and chocolate chips. It's just disappointing that I only get one or two of those in a bag. Can you make sister version with more berries? I go ahead and toss chocolates in there to even the ratios but berries are harder for me to find
I mix Love Crunch with various other whole grain mixtures to balance the sugar, but would prefer not to have to do that. The second ingredient is cane sugar. I'm confident the product would be just a delicious, and it IS delicious, with half that amount - possibly even less. The label says 6g of fiber in 1/4 cup, a really small serving, but does not say whether this is inclusive of the listed cane sugar, the cane sugar in the dark chocolate, and the natural sugars in the berries. I'm a non-professional baker, although many have bought my confections because of the richness of flavors. For any baked goods recipe I haven't created I automatically decrease the sugar by 25%, and then decrease it in future uses until the sugar becomes a compliment rather than the only ingredient that dances on the taste buds. I suggest you try this with Love Crunch.
Shame on you Nature's Path for so much sugar!! and seriously a 1/4 cup serving? Just eating a cup that's 24g of sugar!! I might as well eat a candy bar. This tastes great and I really want to say I love it, but if you cut the sugar down in half it would be even better
